That didn't really answer the question either! The audio book narrated by John Lithgow corresponds exactly to the book text. The audio book which you link to (which is the same one I linked to in the original post) has no information. Who published it? Who is the narrator? It doesn't really make sense that lines appear in an audio book but not earlier texts. If the "novel" lines were written by Dr. Suess (in earlier or later drafts), what I'd like to know is when and where it was published.
